Van Phong Economic Zone poised for takeoff

By 2030, Van Phong aims to rank among Vietnam’s top three economic zones, contributing significantly to provincial and regional GRDP. By 2050, it is envisioned as an international maritime economic centre and a leading driver of Khanh Hoa’s long-term development.

Prime Minister orders swift remediation of deadly landslide in Khanh Hoa

Soil and rocks from the uphill slope spilled onto the road surface, striking a coach carrying 32 people, including 29 passengers, two drivers and one coach assistant. At least six people were killed, while 19 others were injured and have been taken to the Khanh Hoa General Hospital for treatment.

Over 1,300 sea turtle hatchlings return to the ocean in Nui Chua

Rescue teams and volunteers have successfully released 1,301 hatchlings, mainly of the endangered green turtle species, which is listed in both Vietnam’s Red Data Book and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species.

Khanh Hoa targets double-digit growth with FDI push

Khanh Hoa province maps out development path by 2030

The resolution adopted at the congress established the goal of ushering Khanh Hoa into a decade of accelerated development, becoming an international marine tourism and service hub and a national and regional data centre, with two-digit economic growth.

Khanh Hoa grows smart farming to modernise agriculture

To create breakthroughs in agriculture, Khanh Hoa will continue to develop signature crops and livestock, including grapes, aloe vera, green asparagus, onions, garlic, goats, sheep, bird’s nests, mangoes, purple sugarcane, durians, and high-quality rice varieties. The province is also encouraging businesses, cooperatives, and organisations to invest in building closed agricultural value chains, applying digital technology to increase the added value of local farm products.
