Covering a total area of 18,414 hectares, the conservation area includes 13,230 hectares of functional zones (strictly protected zone, ecological restoration zone, and service-administration zone) and 5,184 hectares of buffer zone.
In its Decision No. 2568-QDNS/TW dated November 28, 2025, the Politburo relieved Quan Minh Cuong from the position of member of the northern province of Cao Bang’s Party Committee and its Standing Board and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee before transferring the official to Quang Ninh.
