Visit Vietnam Year – Hue 2025 has left a series of strong imprints, reflecting a marked transformation in Hue’s tourism in terms of scale, quality and brand positioning. More than a programme of events, it has become a powerful driver, helping position Hue as a competitive cultural and heritage tourism centre in the region.

Funded by the WWF in Norway through WWF-Vietnam, the training centre for sustainable tourism practices provides knowledge on alternatives to plastic, environmentally friendly tourism management and training methods, and tours designed to minimise plastic use for both students and local communities, and serves as a hub linking businesses, educational institutions and stakeholders to build a green tourism ecosystem in Hue.

Hue kicks off Visit Vietnam Year 2025

With the theme “Hue - Ancient Capital, New Opportunity,” Visit Vietnam Year 2025 aims to strengthen tourism linkages between Hue and other cities and provinces nationwide, while enhancing the image, position, and brand of Vietnamese tourism in general and that of the central city in particular. The programme will feature four main seasonal activity groups representing spring, summer, autumn, and winter, encompassing over 170 national and provincial-level events.
