Vietnam, Brazil boost agri-trade cooperation

The Vietnamese ambassador expressed the country’s desire to increase the export of aquatic products, cashews, wood items, processed farm produce, apparel, mobile phones, computers, and electronic components to Brazil.

PM meets Brazilian corporations in Rio de Janeiro

At these meetings, the PM highlighted Vietnam’s current landscape, key development priorities, and its favourable investment and business environment. He also underscored the strong friendship between Vietnam and Brazil, particularly following the upgrade of bilateral ties to a Strategic Partnership in November 2024.

Brazilian firms eye Vietnam opportunities at Sao Paulo seminar

During the exhibition from April 8-10, Vietnamese firms displayed signature food and beverage products, including dried pho, instant noodles, canned food, chocolate-coated dried fruit, tea, coffee, and nutritious grains, connecting with Brazilian supermarket chains and distributors to reach 230 million consumers.

Vietnam becomes Brazil’s 2nd largest aquatic product supplier

According to the Department of Customs under the Ministry of Finance, Vietnam’s aquatic product exports reached $655 million in February, marking a 44.5% year-on-year increase. This brought the total for the first two months of 2025 to $1.42 billion, up 19% compared to the same period in 2024.
