Exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh’s footprints in Russia opens in Hanoi

The “Ho Chi Minh’s Footprints in the Homeland of the October Revolution” exhibition feaures nearly 300 carefully selected photos, documents, and artefacts, divided into three sections on his early revolutionary years; his official visits to the Soviet Union as head of state; and 75 years of bilateral ties built on the foundation he established.

Vietnam Culture Day helps strengthen cultural bonds

The highlight of the event was a concert by artists from the Vietnam National Academy of Music, featuring traditional Vietnamese instruments such as dan bau (monochord zither), T’rung (a traditional bamboo xylophone used by the Gia Rai and Ba Na ethnic groups in the Central Highlands), and sao truc (bamboo flute). Folk songs from Vietnam’s three regions were also performed, offering a culturally rich musical experience.

Moscow to host Vietnam Culture Festival for first time

Festival-goers will be treated to performances of Vietnamese water puppetry, enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine, and take part in creative cooking workshops. There will be a special art programme which features performances by artists from both countries, showcasing the sounds of traditional Vietnamese instruments.

Play brings President Ho Chi Minh's legacy to Russian audiences

The show took place at the Grand Hall of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. It was presented by the Le Ngoc Theatre with the support of Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia, as part of the Vietnam–Russia Friendship Symphony art programme.

Vietnam’s cultural showcase in Russia bridges hearts

The event featured intertwined performances by both Vietnamese and Russian students. They were arranged like the “hat doi” styles found in many regions of Vietnam, with Quan Ho folk songs juxtaposing with songs about Cossack culture, and Bac Bling (Bac Ninh) dances paired with traditional Russian dances.
