PM discusses ways to enhance ties with Dutch, Singaporean counterparts in South Africa

PM Chinh proposed the Netherlands promptly ratify the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA) to further promote bilateral investment cooperation on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, urge the European Commission (EC) to soon lift its “yellow card” warning against Vietnamese seafood, and further step up bilateral collaboration in science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI), and databases.

Vietnam, Singapore hold 16th Defence Policy Dialogue

Deputy Defence Minister Hoang Xuan Chien reaffirmed Vietnam’s consistent stance of settling all disputes and disagreements by peaceful measures based on international law, especially the 1982 UNCLOS, and international and regional commitments such as the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea (DOC), while promoting the early conclusion of an effective and substantive Code of Conduct in the East Sea (COC) among parties.
