Coast Guard Region 2 Command effectively handles maritime violations

The unit deployed 223 ship and boat sorties, covering more than 120,000 safe nautical miles. It detected, prevented and handled nearly 200 cases of violations of maritime law, dismantled eight major drug-related rings, and took action against 41 vessel owners for illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.

Smart city operation centre makes debut in Da Nang city

The centre was built with a total investment of 10 million USD, including 9 million USD funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and 1 million USD in counterpart capital allocated for the 2021–2025 period.

Da Nang museum showcases 16 national treasures

Da Nang tightens fishing vessel management to have EC's IUU yellow card lifted

Under the official dispatch, commune and ward-level authorities must closely monitor every non-compliant fishing vessel within their jurisdiction. Vessel owners are prohibited from taking their boats to sea without complete legal documents and are required to remove all fishing gear and equipment from vessels that are not eligible to operate.

Da Nang strengthens efforts to combat IUU fishing
