Forum seeks solutions to build brand for Vietnamese Robusta coffee

VICOFA Vice Chairman Thai Nhu Hiep stated that Vietnam is already the world’s largest producer and exporter of Robusta coffee, with an annual output exceeding 1.8 million tonnes. Vietnamese Robusta coffee has several advantages, including favourable natural conditions and large, concentrated growing areas, which provide a stable supply.

Dak Lak to hold officials accountable for any laxity in IUU fishing fight

The Chairperson has instructed coastal communes and wards to mobilise all local political systems to closely monitor and prevent any illegal fishing activities, particularly those involving boats operating illegally in foreign waters. Local authorities are also required to thoroughly review the fishing fleet, ensuring that all vessels are properly registered, inspected, and licensed in accordance with regulations.

Dak Lak sets ambitious goals for next five years

By 2030, Dak Lak aims to raise GRDP per capita to at least 153 million VND (5,800 USD), attracting social investment of 600 trillion VND, or approximately 35% of GRDP. The province targets to boost export value to over 13 billion USD during this period, growing by 5 to 6% annually.

Rare species discovered in Dak Lak province

After more than two months of field surveys and camera trapping expeditions, researchers documented 789 species of vascular plants across 148 families and 494 genera, including one classified as critically endangered, nine endangered, and 11 near threatened, at the Ea So Nature Reserve in Dak Lak province.

Dak Lak completes nearly 90% of plan to eliminate substandard houses

As of July 9, 8,526 houses had been newly built or repaired, including 6,626 new constructions and 1,900 repairs, achieving 89.5% of the target. Over 6,000 houses have been handed over and are now occupied, providing stable accommodation for families benefiting from social policies, as well as low-income and near-poor households.
