Vietnam, Laos strengthen cooperation in Party organisation affairs

Hung congratulated Laos on its significant achievements in recent years. He outlined Vietnam’s progress in streamlining and restructuring the organisational apparatus and political system, noting that this process will continue to be refined to better meet the requirements and tasks of the new period.

Vientiane (VNA) – Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and Chairman of the CPV Central Committee’s Organisation Commission Le Minh Hung held talks with Sisay Leudetmounsone, Politburo member, Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and Chairwoman of the LPRP Central Committee's Organisation Commission in Vientiane on December 2.

Hung congratulated Laos on its significant achievements in recent years. He outlined Vietnam’s progress in streamlining and restructuring the organisational apparatus and political system, noting that this process will continue to be refined to better meet the requirements and tasks of the new period.

For her part, Sisay stressed that Vietnam’s achievements have been a major source of encouragement and valuable experience for Laos in its national construction and development cause.

The official briefed the Vietnamese side on the situation in Laos, including Party and political system building and consolidation, professional work on organisational affairs, personnel and Party membership, and safeguarding internal political security. She also exchanged views on cooperation between the two Organisation Commissions.

The two sides discussed and agreed on cooperation orientations for the time ahead, affirming their commitments to maintaining regular information exchange and sharing of experience in Party and political system building.

They agreed to continue advising the organisation of study courses and thematic exchanges for leaders and managers at different levels, and carry on with training programmes for young officials and those from border provinces of the two countries.

They concurred to maintain cooperation between the “Xay dung Dang” (Party building) Journal of the CPV Central Committee’s Organisation Commission and Kosang Phak Journal of the LPRP Central Committee’s Organisation Commission, contributing to the dissemination of information on the special Vietnam–Laos friendship and comprehensive cooperation among officials, Party members and the public./.

Frigate 015 – Tran Hung Dao concludes visit to RoK
