For 2026, Thailand expects 34.9 million foreign visitors, a 4% increase, earning 1.63 trillion THB in revenue, up 8% year-on-year. Total tourism revenue, including domestic travel, is forecast at 2.79 trillion THB (88 billion USD).

Vietnamese sports delegation encouraged ahead of SEA Games 33

A total of 28 teams with 552 members have arrived in Thailand, with several squads, including the men’s and women’s football teams, baseball, handball and badminton, already beginning competition as scheduled. An additional 160 athletes, including key teams in athletics, swimming and archery, were due to join the delegation later the same day.
