Visit Vietnam Year – Hue 2025 has left a series of strong imprints, reflecting a marked transformation in Hue’s tourism in terms of scale, quality and brand positioning. More than a programme of events, it has become a powerful driver, helping position Hue as a competitive cultural and heritage tourism centre in the region.
From January 2024 to mid-November 2025, Hue city recorded only seven IUU-related violations, all were addressed according to regulations. Nearly 1,000 vessels have completed data verification on the VNFishbase system, significantly improving transparency to support the yellow card removal process.
The central city of Hue has taken actions to promptly monitor, detect, report, and prevent fishing vessels intending to violate foreign waters.

The package include 58 rescue boats, 1,000 sets of bowls and dishes, 1,000 blankets, 1,000 bedding kits, 55 sets of tents, and a huge amount of canned food. It was transported to Hue on the same day for allocation to flood-stricken communities.
Inspecting flood-hit areas in the central city of Hue on October 31, the Deputy PM commended the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre for its swift and proactive response in cleaning and restoring sites immediately after floodwaters receded, helping to minimise damage and quickly restore the site’s appearance.
